About the Legacy Salute Battery

Our goal in forming this group is to honor, remember, and salute the Class of 1982.

We honor our fellow classmates and ourselves by coming together and celebrating the bond we share as a class.

We remember our classmates who are no longer with us.

We will salute them in the form of a toast later in this program. We will also salute the Class of 1982 in the same manner.

Our legacy began in the hot humid month of August in 1978. It will continue, through this ceremony, and similar gatherings until the final two remaining members of this group make that final toast.

We sincerely hope you find the ceremony to be meaningful, heartfelt, and a proper tribute to our class.
